Personal Background
I am from the sunny city of Orlando, Florida, where I grew up alongside my two younger brothers. Our family lived just a short 15-minute drive from Disney World, which was a regular destination for our family adventures. From a young age, my parents instilled in us a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for education. On a lighter note, I occasionally joke about being “powered by sunshine,” as I naturally possess a high-energy disposition without coffee.
Educational Background
Coming from an entrepreneurial family laid the groundwork for my profound interest in business, accounting, and finance. My academic journey led me to Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, a renowned institution known for its exceptional undergraduate business program, where I pursued a B.S. in Business Administration with concentration in accounting. The rigorous journey continued as I successfully passed all four sections of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam on my very first attempt. Presently, I’m working to attain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Joining AgIS Capital
My professional experience encompasses various realms of financial accounting, reporting, analysis, and strategic business partnering. When the opportunity presented itself at AgIS Capital, I was quite excited to leverage my analytical skillset and enthusiasm of continuous learning in a new field. My knowledge of farmland investment was initially limited, but I’ve been learning a lot about the intricacies of different commodities and the broader agricultural industry. What resonates with me at AgIS Capital is the opportunity to be a part of the entire process, from acquisitions to harvest to client presentations of the results. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is venturing out to the properties and connecting with farmers and the operations team to gain firsthand insights. The tangible, real aspect of our work at AgIS Capital has been very fulfilling.

Thinking About the Future
Since my arrival at AgIS Capital, I’ve become more attuned to upcoming weather patterns than I ever anticipated! Looking ahead, my aspirations include passing the last two levels of the CFA exam on my initial attempt and attaining the esteemed CFA charter designation, deepening my expertise in the permanent planting crop space, and steadfastly ensuring that our clients’ present and future needs are met with the utmost excellence. I foresee an exciting milestone in AgIS Capital’s future, with the prospect of surpassing the $1 billion AUM threshold on the horizon.
Free Time
Having recently relocated to the vibrant DC area, I’ve been immersing myself in the rich cultural tapestry the city has to offer, from the countless Smithsonian museums to captivating cultural events and world-class performing arts performances. My family resides generally along the East Coast, and my newfound central location on the eastern seaboard allows for convenient weekend getaways to visit them and create cherished memories.
