President of AgIS Property Management

Oversees 11,000 acres of farmland investments and related improvements;
Supports the acquisition team on underwriting and property evaluations with data from existing operations.


Jeff has an exceptional knowledge base on the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act and how policies made by ground water agencies and federal, state and private water districts affect farmland investments. He is based in our Turlock, CA office.

Jeff previously served as chief financial officer of Hancock Farmland Services, Inc., which was previously known as Farmland Management Services. In that role, he directed the operation of investment properties, marketed almonds, pistachios, walnuts and wine grapes totaling over $80 million in gross value, sourced farmland acquisitions, managed due diligence processes for over $300 million in farmland acquisitions, developed risk management policies and procedures and oversaw the preparation of financial statements. Prior to Hancock, Jeff was Vice President of Finance for a poultry grower and processing firm, targeting the organic and antibiotic free market.
