BOSTON, MA — AgIS Capital announced today it has hired Carl Evers III to serve in the newly created role of Director of Sustainability.

According to Conrad, Evers will be based in California and will have operational and strategic responsibilities related to AgIS Capital’s sustainability efforts. He joins AgIS Capital from Hancock Natural Resource Group, Inc., where he served most recently as Vice President of Water Resources for North America. During his tenure with Hancock, Carl also oversaw the development and operations of orchard and vineyard assets in California and Australia as well as water strategy throughout North America with a focus on California and Washington.
Evers holds a BS in Agribusiness and a minor degree in sustainable agriculture from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. He is an Accredited Farm Manager with the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
